"When my children started getting scared of the dark I couldn't find a night light, my first choice was a touch battery and after leaving it on all night the batteries went flat. Next was a cheap plug in the wall, but i could hear my 2 year old for about 4 nights in a row around 2-3am in the morning get up and start playing with it! where I would find it in bits on the floor, pulled out of the wall etc, so I went for an expensive plug-in which rotated, but once again he loved it so much he constantly touched ut, pulling it out of the socket and broke the light bulb which I had to replace.
